INTRODUCTION

We bring a unique opportunity for our members to purchase directly from the end user from one of the largest Auctions in Japan where individuals (regular car owners' - end users) can put their cars on the auctions. None of other export company offers that service and we are pleased to be the first that offer the bridge directly to the car owner without going to the dealer auction

WHAT IS YAHOO AUCTION

Yahoo auction is an Internet based auction for both Japanese individuals and dealers who can put any car and in any condition after they registered with the auction and provided basic description for the car they are putting on the auction. Currently over 45,000 cars are put on the auction on weekly basis that makes it second largest car Auction after AOK (that has 80,000 cars per week). Cars are displayed for one up to 7 days but also for shorter periods of time (7 days is the longest but there is also an option for the car to automatically be displayed at the auction for another 7 days). Bids are made on-line real time and bids can be made only by registered and approved auction participants. JAPAN PARTNER WILL BE MAKING BIDS ON YOUR BEHALF and will arrange inland delivery either to our yard so we could later on arrange a shipping for your car or directly to your local partner in Japan (if you wish to arrange the shipping through your local partner).

BEFORE PARTICIPATING

Browsing through cars which are put on the Yahoo auction is free and can give you a good idea what is available and general price level. Please note that 80% of the cars have either high DOMESTIC prices or prices which are much too high for a certain car. Some car owners without car sales experience think they can sell car for a high price, which is often unrealistic even for a domestic market. However remaining 20% represent a good opportunity for our members to purchase a wide range of cars for a very competitive price. Usually the individuals put those cars on the auction or dealers who would like to sell their car fast at any cost that the customers are willing to pay. These cars should be the main targets for you. If you know what you want, and you are ready to put some time in searching YAHOO auction - you should be able to find a good deal!

The auction and description is in Japanese language and it will be translated through automatic translation software into English, the translation will not be perfect but should give you general understanding about the condition of the car and its general specs.

Once we receive your deposit for auction participation, we will answer or clarify the points in the description of the car listed on the auction. Condition or Description related questions regarding your car won't be answered unless the deposit towards your purchase is received (your deposit will be a confirmation of your serious intention to purchase your car so we could dedicate our attention only to serious customers)

FEES for PARTICIPATION

1. We will charge COMMISSION fee in the amount of $500 USD on the top of the related expenses that you will incur when you purchase a car from Yahoo Auction. OTHER costs are as follows:

2. Placing a bid - there will be a charge in the amount of $3 per bid charged by Japan Partner for executing your bid

3. CAR COST + 5% sales tax that is applied for all purchases made in Japan

4. Successful Bid Charge: $35 (this charge applies only if your bid was successful and you were able to purchase the car)

5. Inland (Domestic) delivery (either to our facilities or to your local Japan based partner). Inland Delivery will range from $100 USD to $450 (for remote island regions in Japan) where most of the cars displayed will be in $200-250 USD delivery cost range. Most of the cars put on the auction has LOCATION field with the PREFECTURE name on it. Before deciding on a certain car you can check the cost for the delivery by following this link where you are able to see approximate cost for the inland delivery (you will be charged exact amount that delivery company charges us for delivering your car and we don't put any margin on it). Most of the cars on the auction require us to pick up their cars within 7 days so you will have to decide beforehand either you want to deliver it our facilities (so we could further arrange shipping to your country) or you we can deliver the car directly to your local partner address so your partner could arrange shipping for your car.

WE GUARANTEE that your deposit will be refunded (transferred back to your account) if you cannot purchase your car from Yahoo auction within 3 weeks and you request your deposit to be refunded (the bank transfer fee in the amount of $45 will be deducted from the amount to be transferred to your account)

OPTIONAL FEES

6. FOB (Free on Board) Arrangements - $500 USD that includes:

a) arranging Deregistration Certificate (Car ownership certificate) for your car that includes deregistering the car with local Department of Transportation office that is a must for exporting the car
b) Booking and arranging a shipping for your car to your port
c) Arranging Custom Clearance for your car
d) Loading your car onto the vessel
e) Arranging Bill of Lading for your car
f) Express-mailing the documents to your address

7. Minor repairs or making the cars drivable to be able to load on RORO Basis - costs for these repairs will be informed upon your detailed request regarding what needs to be done to a specific car

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

If you think you are ready to participate and you think that the cars that you are interested in are sold for the price that you are willing to pay (including additional cost mentioned in our Fees section) you will need to complete the following steps:

1. Arrange a DEPOSIT in the amount of 50% if the estimated car cost is below 500,000 yen ($5,000 USD) or 100% of the estimated car cost (including additional costs and our commission) is $5000 and up. IMPORTANT: Please note that if your car cannot be purchased from the Yahoo auction for your desired amount within 3 weeks you can request your deposit to be transferred back to your bank account. In this case bank transfer fee, charged by our bank, in the amount of $45 USD will be subtracted from the sum that will be transferred to you

2. Once the payment is arranged you will need to fax us or scan and email us bank transfer confirmation slip together with your request in the following format:

a) Maker and Model of the car that you want us to make a bid for
b) www link to the car in yahoo auction (you can copy and paste it into your email)
c) Your maximum bid amount for the car you wish to purchase (please keep in mind that on the top of your bid additional expenses related to your car will be added so keep them in mind when you send your bid to us). Please note that the fee in the amount of $3 will be charged for executing your bid on your behalf. IMPORTANT: Please note that the purchase price for your car from Yahoo auction can be lower than your maximum bid as the purchase price depends on the presence of other bids. For example if your maximum bid for Pajero was $4500 USD and the last bid for this car was $4,200 the car will be purchased at $4,200 USD and the balance will be either used for related expenses or returned to you (in case related expenses were covered in advance). It is in your best interest to provide you best BID amount as if the car is purchased for lower cost the balance will be returned
d) Where you wish to deliver the car (if you don't mention anything by default we will assume that the car needs to be transported to our facility)

Here is the example for your Bid Request:

a) You fax or scan and email us bank transfer confirmation sheet reflecting the payment (deposit) that you arranged for your purchase from Yahoo auction
b) Car to be purchased: Mitsubishi Pajero 1995

d) My maximum bid: $4500
e) My car to be delivered to: My car to be delivered to your yard and have its shipping arranged to the port of Mombassa

If your bid was successful you will be notified by email (or phone, fax - as your prefer) and final invoice will be issued reflecting total cost covering the purchase and shipping of your car. Once the invoice is issued and sent to you the balance must be settled within 48 hours - 2 working days (you will need to make a bank transfer within 48 hours upon invoice reception that would cover the balance for your car)

TOTAL FEES EXAMPLE

As an example for your total cost, for the above mentioned Mitsubishi Pajero would be as following:

1. Car cost - $4,410 USD ($4,200 + 5% sales tax ($210 USD)
2. Our commission - $ 500
3. Inland transportation - $ 200 USD (if the car is delivered from Shizuoka)
4. Auction related fees: $38 USD (Successful bid fee $35 USD + bid placing fee - 3 USD)
5. OPTIONAL - FOB arrangements: $500 USD (Optional - if you will arrange shipping of your car on your own - this charge won't apply)
6. OPTIONAL - Ocean Freight to your port, let's say to Durban - $1200 USD (Optional - if you going to arrange shipping of your car on your own - this fee won't be applied)

TOTAL COST: $6,848 C&F (that will include delivery your car to your port)

Or

TOTAL COST: $5, 148 CAR ONLY PRICE ( if you will arrange FOB export related procedures and arrange shipping on your own)

If you think that you can participate directly For your information - 99% of the people or companies who put their cars on the Yahoo auction - do not offer FOB and international shipping arrangements services. You will also need to have trading license issued and valid in Japan and export license to be able to export the car from Japan.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF YAHOO AUCTION

Finally we would like to bring your attention to both advantages and disadvantages of this auction as the bottom line for us is your satisfaction.

DISADVANTAGES

1. You have to rely on the accuracy of the car description provided by the seller
2. Most (if not all) of the sellers have no-return policy so once you get your car you won't be able to get a refund
3. Most of the domestic sellers charge 5% sales tax (same as professional car auctions) that it applicable to purchases made in Japan
4. There is a chance that the seller can remove the car from the auction if he/she receives a better offer through other sales channel or the price that the car is about to be sold is not satisfactory for the seller.

ADVANTAGES

1. There is a large variety of cars sold at Yahoo Auction, you won't be able to have a better variety anywhere else
2. Japan is one of the lowest crime/fraud polluted countries with most of sellers doing a good job describing their cars
3. You will be able to avoid middle men in the form of auction houses and re-sellers by being able to purchase from the end user
4. The auction fees and successful bid fee are considerably lower than regular car auction (please refer to "FEES FOR PARTICIPATION SECTION"
5. If you are dedicated to find the car you want and are persistent with looking there is an excellent chance you will find a car that is priced considerably lower than the market price
